How to upload photos
Users can upload photos to their projects using the Site Specs website or the mobile app.
Web
To upload photos to projects using the website, users need to login to sitespecs.io, navigate to the project they wish to upload photos to on the My Projects page. Once in the project, navigate the Photos tab. You will see a green button to the right of the search bar that says '+Add ned photo'. Click that to upload photos from your computer.
Mobile
To upload photos using your mobile app on iOS or Android devices, login, search for the project you wish to upload photos to from your project list. You can use the camera button directly on the project card for immediate access to your camera and/or library, or you can tap into the project details where you will also see the camera button in-line with your project thumbnails near the top of the project details view.
You can select photos from your device's library (up to 100 at a time), or you can use your camera to take and annotate photos. Once you have selected/taken the photos you wish to upload, they will be in your upload queue where you can review them, add annotations and tags, upload photos individually, or upload ALL photos at once.
NOTE: Photos can not be viewed by any project team members until they are uploaded. Photos will remain on your mobile device in your To-Do List until they are either deleted or uploaded to our servers where we will run them thru object and text recognition algorithms, geotag, and index their metadata into our search algorithms. Site Specs will automatically notify your project team of the new uploads and add them to the daily report for that calendar day.
